Hip-Hop Abs!

I have a new little hobby..Hip-Hop Abs! Since I get bored at home sometimes, it's a good little activity for me! I've been doing it all this week and I Love it, it's so much fun. I kinda feel weird doing it in my front living room, but it's so fun once i get into it. Alli loves to watch me, she probably thinks I'm crazy, but it's just as entertaining to her as it is to me! Oh, and I've been going to a "Power Pump" class at Gold's Gym every Tuesday night with my sister and it's SO hard, but fun. I'll let ya know when I get my six pack..ha ha, yeah right!

Farewell President Gordon B. Hinckley

I was saddened to hear of the loss of President Gordon B. Hinckley who passed away this evening. I abosolutely loved this man. You can't help but love him. He was such a tremendous prophet and such a great example to all of us. My favorite things about him were his unwaivering testimony, his sense of humor, his down to earth personality, and the love and respect that he showed and spoke of for his wife. They were the cutest couple! You could tell that he loved her more than anything and it was hard for him when she passed away, so I'm glad that he is back with her now. He always talked about the respect he had for women and mothers, which i also loved about him =) I loved that his talks were so simple and basic, but yet so powerful and inspirational. He has done so many amazing things during his leadership for the church. He has traveled worldwide, and has built numerous temples. He has done countless things for the church, and for its members worldwide. He had great energy for a man of his age and so much enthusiasm for life. He was a hard worker who worked tirelessly until just a few days before he passed away. He was a very special man, one who I looked up to very much. I will always remember him and his love for life. He will be missed greatly. We LOVE YOU President Gordon B. Hinckley.

Chubby Baby..

Alli is getting to be a little chunk! She will be 14 weeks old this Friday. Here are a few recent pictures of her. She cracks me up, she's so funny. We just adore her!

Our Dog's

These are our dogs Ruger and Beau. Josh says they are "part of the family" so I had to make a post about them for him! Ruger has 3 legs because he jumped out of a truck when he was a puppy going 60 mph, but it doesn't seem to slow him down at all. Ruger is a German short hair and Beau is an English pointer. They are both really good bird hunting dogs. We got Beau about a 1 yr 1/2 ago because Duke died and Ruger would just sit out in his dog house and howl all night long, it was pretty sad. These are the craziest most hyper dogs you will ever meet! They chew on EVERYTHING!!! We've gone through 5 garden hoses, 2 garden hose carriers, 5 sets of dog houses, tons of tools (the chew on the ends of them), rolls of toilet paper, and 8 blankets. They even knocked down part of our fence! They're crazy!! If you give them anything, guaranteed it will be destroyed within an hour. I'm not really a pet lover but Josh loves his dogs, so I just let him deal with them. They pretty much destroy our backyard every time they are out. But I have gone pheasant hunting with Josh a couple times and it is pretty cool how they just stand so still when they are on point. It makes it really easy to know where a bird is and to know when to shoot.

Love this Book...

So lately I have been reading Twilight, the first book out of the series by Stephanie Meyers and I am really enjoying it. I'm sure most of you are familiar with it since it's pretty popular. I started it a few months ago when i was in labor at the hospital and haven't had the chance to pick it up since. Yesterday, while Alli was playing on her little gym mat, I decided to read some more of it and I could not put it down!! I'm already half way through the book in one day. I couldn't read fast enough! I am officially addicted like everyone else seems to be. I normally do NOT read books at all, but this one is SO good! It has such great intensity and is really romantic...LOVE IT!

Alli's Blessing Weekend...

Alli was blessed this last Sunday at church. Josh did such a wonderful job, it was a beautiful blessing. I was so emotional! She looked so cute in her white dress. She is getting so big so fast. She now almost 3 months old and weighs 12 lbs 12 oz, and is 24 inches long!
It was such a special day for Alli and for Josh & I. Everything turned out perfect. Afterwords we had dinner at our house for about 30 people! We had turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, tons of good stuff. It was my first turkey that I have ever made so I was a bit nervous, but luckily it turned out delicious! Usually I tend to burn a lot of things..just ask Josh, so it was a miracle it turned out! haha! Thanks to everyone who helped with the food and for traveling so far for Alli's special day. It was fun to visit with friends and family. I feel so blessed to have such a healthy beautiful baby girl!

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2007 was a really good year for us! The highlight of the year for us was having our baby girl! She is such a cute little girl and always is making us smile. Also, Josh got a job at a better company this year, so that has been good for us. Really, the only bad thing I can think of that happened this year was Josh got in a car accident with Bob on their way home from work. But luckily he was just fine and it wasn't their fault.
I can't believe it's already 2008...time really does fly. I graduated in 2002 and I remember thinking how crazy it would be when it was 2010, and now it's only 2 years away! I'm looking forward to 2008 because I won't be pregnant during the summer time and can maybe actually go out and just maybe get tan!! Yay! Also, we're planning on getting a new car soon, so I'm looking forward to that. I've already made a resolution for 2008 to stop drinking Dr. Pepper or any carbonation. I actually startd it about 3 weeks before Christmas and so far I've done really good! It hasn't been as hard as I thought. But I made a rule that I CAN drink it when I go out to dinner and on Holidays. The only hard thing is Josh drinks it like crazy so it makes me want some of it. Anyway, I'm really excited to start a new year. I know it's going to be a great year.
