We're Goin!

We are going to Carrie Underwood at the E-Center on November 19th! It's quite a ways a way but I'm pretty excited. Hopefully she's good live. It was actually Josh's idea to buy the tickets, he called and asked me if I wanted to go and of course I said yes. What am i gonna say No?! I think he mostly wants to go because he has a little crush on her! Next time, I get to pick the concert :) So yes, we'll be on the 11th row, should be fun!

Lehi Round-Up

Saturday night we went to the good ole Lehi Round-up..it's always a favorite! I'm allergic to hay & horses, so I always have to take a couple Benadryl before I go. They completely knock me out, so I was a little tired! Other than that, it was a fun night. We love a good rodeo!!

Alli's New Favorite...

Lately I've been introducing Alli to a lot of different more solid foods. Her new favorite at the moment is Quaker Apple Cinnamon Rice Cakes. She eats them so fast! She also loves vanilla yogurt, soda crackers and rolled oats & apple baby food. It's been fun to watch her try new things. She LOVES to eat!

Zoo Day!

Today we took Alli to the Hogle Zoo for the first time! It was fun but very hot. We kept drenching Alli's hat with cold water so she would stay cool. She's a little trooper though and was of course happy the whole time. She didn't really know what was going on, but it was a fun day for all of us! Next year will be more exciting for her I'm sure.

Backyard Swimming

Tuesday afternoon we went over to Requel and Bella's house to do a little swimming. It was so hot! I am loving the hot weather lately but the babies can only handle a little bit at a time. We had fun though, Alli loves the water. After we went inside Alli was a tired and had enough as you can see by the last picture!

Washing Walls....

So today I have been washing our walls, baseboards and doors all morning. I HATE washing walls, I only do it like once or twice a year because I dread it so much. In fact, I was thinking about hiring someone to do it, but being the good wife that I am...I didn't =) My mom used to make us help her do it for "spring cleaning" and now I realize why she had helpers cause it takes a long time with just one person!
I just have to say that walls are very deceiving! My walls looked pretty clean to begin with I thought, but once I got going, there was so much dust on them! I found so many cobwebs that I didn't even know existed and I killed like 5 spiders...Gros!
I have the whole downstairs done, so later today or tomorrow I'll do the upstairs, probably tomorrow because I'm sweating to death and I feel like I have spiders all over me and in my hair. Anyway, I'm glad I'm half way done and I'm glad I finally did it because they were pretty disgusting. Sorry I had to vent a little on how much I hate to wash the walls!!

Bees Game

Last night we met my whole family for dinner at Little America and a Bees game afterward. It was fun to see everyone and watch a game! Alli was pretty good until the end when she got a little tired. Luckily, she fell asleep in her stroller after a few laps around the park. We had a good time, Thanks Dad!

Happy Father's Day!

I just wanted to wish Josh a Happy Father's Day and thank him for being a wonderful Husband and Father. He works so hard for us and is a great provider for our family. He always knows how to make me laugh and put a smile on my face. Thanks for all you do, I love you so much!

First Swim!

We took Alli swimming yesterday at the Lehi Legacy Center for her very first time. She didn't quite know what to think of it at first, but then she got used to it and LOVED it!

$1.00 Make-up

I found this on my friend Jennie's blog and it's so cool, so I thought I'd share if you haven't already heard of it. It's called e.l.f(eyes, lips and face). You can order all kinds of make-up for just $1 per item, which is a smokin deal for make-up as all of us girls know! The rumor is they were bought out by Nordstrom, so I'm thinking it's pretty high quality stuff because Nordstrom is pretty top-notch! I love the M.A.C. make-up that is sold at Nordstrom, so I'm hoping maybe this is like it..who knows. Anyway, you can check out their website at www.eyeslipsface.com. If you place an order, type the word "carolina" in the coupon box, and you'll get $7.50 off your order. Have Fun Girls!

Getting Close...

Alli has been trying to crawl for about a month now, and lately she has been getting SO close! It's been fun and amazing to watch her through the whole process. She's so strong, sometimes she looks like a frog because she'll kind of leap off of her knees. I think she'll be full on crawling very soon...that's gonna be so crazy! Here she is trying to crawl.
Don't mind the tv in the background and the stuffed animal duck qwacking...I had to have something for her to crawl to! Oh and does anyone know how to make the movies less dark?

Bushes OUT, Flowers IN!

Last weekend Josh tore out some of the bushes that were in in our yard for me, and I planted flowers! Basically our yard was a whole lot of bushes, so I wanted to mix it up and plant some flowers to add a little color. Who doesn't like flowers anyway?! It turned out good, I'm glad we did it.

Go Big Brown!

I've always loved watching horse races. I think it's because I've grown up watching them with my parents, so now I'm a fan. Plus, I secretly want to attend with all the rich and famous and wear one of those big hats!
Tomorrow is the big race at Belmont Park. If the big star "Big Brown" wins this race, he will win the triple crown! No horse has won the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes since 1978. I think he can do it. I really hope that none of the horses get hurt either, it's so sad when they do. GO BIG BROWN, I'll be watching and cheering for you!

Light or Dark People?!

My last two hair appointments I have gone dark. I can't decide if I like the dark or not. What do you think? Do you like my hair with more blonde in it or darker? Feel free to give me your Honest opinion because I just can't decide which way to go! I always mix it up every now and then anyway, but overall what do you like better? Okay and WOW, 3 posts in one day, I'm done I promise.

A New Little Friend!

This is Alli and her new friend Bella. How cute are they?! They are exactly two months apart and Alli is probably two or three times bigger than Bella! They were so cute together playing on the blanket. Alli pretty much rolled over Bella and stole all of her toys. I think Bella was wondering what was up with that, she might have even been a little scared! Anyway, they had fun. I think Alli was just shocked to not be playing alone!

This is just a random picture of Alli in the bath. She still LOVES her baths, and she's obsessed with this little fish toy, she won't let go of it until she has to get out.

Lastly, Alli now has two little teeth that she always plays with. She put her hands in her mouth and clicks her fingers against her new teeth. She's just so curious as to what they are!
