Savoring Summer

Since summer is winding down I've been trying to be outside as much as possible. Lately, we've been swimming a lot. Alli is such a water baby and LOVES to be in or around water. During the long winter months while we're stuck in the house, we can look back at these pictures and remember the nice sunny days!

My New Favorite Class....

ZUMBA!!! I went to a new class called Zumba at Gold's last night and it was so fun, I had a blast! I felt a little strange in the beginning but then I just let loose...the music gets to you! It's like a dance, toning, cardio, interval training workout all in one and it's SO fun! WE did all sorts of different styles like African, American, Salsa, Cowboy, Elvis and more. It went by so fast and by the end I was dripping sweat and today I'm so sore. The teacher is awesome too. I'm so going every week! Yay for Zumba...I love it!

Home Sweet Home

Well, the Hunting Season has arrived for Josh so that means lots of trips Home for me and Alli! Last weekend we went to Richfield to my parents house. On Saturday we went to the Loa Fair Parade with my parents and Uncle Harv. I got Alli some Mardi Gras beads which kept her entertained pretty much the whole weekend, it was great! I also ran out with the little kids and managed to get a fire hat for Alli. I'm not afraid to get my game face on for some candy and toys...watch out kids!

She Loves to Walk and Walk and Walk and Talk a little too while she's at it!

Sunday we went to church, watched the Olympics of course and just relaxed. Josh came to Richfield and ate some Sunday dinner with his friend Ryan and then headed home. I stayed for one more day to go to lunch with some friends.

She was putting her hands behind her head like this ALL weekend for some reason

Walking with Grandpa in her new Sunday dress that Grandma bought for her..so cute!

She loves to hold herself up on things now, she's getting so strong!

Overall, it was a fun weekend and it was nice to be home! I was able to see some old highschool friends Lisa, Cami and Chelsea- it was fun to see you!

Memories

I know you've seen a lot of these around, but I thought it might be kind of fun.

1. As a comment on our blog, leave one memory that you and I and/or you and Josh had together. It doesn't matter if you knew either of us a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses.

2008 Hunstman Cancer Foundation Golf Classic & Gala

Monday night we were able to go the the Huntsman Cancer Institute Fundraiser Dinner thanks to my Dad who invited us. It was really fun! They have a nice dinner, auctions, and a little program. Afterwards, Utah's own Julianne Hough was the entertainment! She didn't' have the whole band with her, but she still did really good. It was fun to see her in person.
Tuesday morning is the Ron Boone Golf Classic Tournament at Thanksgiving Point that all the guys play in. And you will never guess who Josh ran into in the bathroom....KYLE KORVER!!! Lucky! I was like did you take a picture? But he said he just said Hi. Anyway, it was fun and it was the day of our anniversary, so we basically had two celebrations! Thanks, Brandon & Carrie for watching Alli!

Park City

For our Anniversary this year we went up to Park City and stayed at the Hotel Park City which is amazing! It is so gorgeous and nice inside and out. In fact, it's one of the leading small hotels of the world!! Our room had a fireplace, jetted tub, jetted shower, patio, a kitchen, leather couches, king bed, basically everything you can think of! I felt like I was staying at an upscale cabin, it was so fun. The views from our room were gorgeous. I loved everything about it!

We got there on Saturday afternoon and went to the Alpine Slide and Alpine Coaster. The Coaster goes SO fast! Of course Josh had to go as fast as possible, and with two people you can go even faster. (You have control over your speed) It was pretty scary at first, I thought we were gonna fall off the railing thing, but it was so much fun!

After the slides we checked into our hotel and went to the pool to lay-out. Later that night we went to Ruth Chris Steak House. It was ssooo Delicious! After dinner we went to The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, which was kinda lame but oh well.

The next morning we slept in, I went and layed out one more time and then we left. It was a short trip but really really nice and very relaxing! Thanks Grandma JoAnn for coming up to stay and watch Alli, we really appreciate it!

Two Years!

Today is our Two Year Anniversary! It has gone by so fast, and what a wonderful two years it has been! Josh is a great husband and father. We've had and have so much fun together! We've experienced a lot of awesome things in just a short time.
Some of the things that I really love about Josh is that he's positive, outgoing, energetic, funny, supportive, good looking, understanding, hard-working and lives life to the fullest. He sings to me in the car, is always planning something fun to do, and he frequently watches Alli or takes her with him places so I can have a break. He is my best friend and I can talk to him about anything. Thanks for all you do Josh, I look forward for many many years to come. Happy Anniversary, I love you ssssooooo much!

Random Add

I was looking back through our pictures and thought that these needed to be in our blog somewhere. So here I am posting pictures today, which is August 21, 2009. (but I made the post be further back ) They're pretty old, but I wanted to have them in my blog.

Cute Little Boots!

Happy Girl!

Just cute, I like her shoes and her chubbiness always =)

Love the camo outfit and chubby legs

She has the most precious face while she is sleeping. She used to always fall alseep on the way home from places and this is what she would look like when we brought her into the house.
SO SWEET!!
