Girls Trip

Last weekend my Mom, sister and I went to St. George for the Home Show. I always look forward to it every year. It's fun to stay in a hotel, go to beautiful homes, shop, eat out and eat lots of treats!
Like every year there were some AMAZING homes. We saw a new area just above Hurricane that was really nice and had gorgeous views. It really makes me wonder why I'm not living down there every time we go!
Oh and I can't forget, we snuck cafe Rio salads into the movie theatre and that was quite the experience, one that I will try to never do again..quite embarrassing!! But it was worth it because we weren't late for the movie, got good seats and we didn't have to wait until 9:45 to eat dinner! Here are some of my favorite pictures from a few of the homes.

This home had a pedicure chair right next to the bathroom...How Genius is that?! I would be in heaven!

I LOVE Black and White Bathrooms, they are my favorite!

So this isn't a very good picture, but this house had the laundry room, closet and master bedroom are all connected so you could walk right into the other, it was so convenient!

Outdoor shower...need I say more?! Love them!

This house had everything in it, a basketball court, racquetball court, rock climbing wall, gym, golfing driving range, theatre, an amazing pool, everything! It was like a dream home, one which I will probably never own, but it was fun to see =) Here is a picture of their pool, it was awesome!

I love the stools in this pool.

More random pictures, there was a lot of stuff that I liked!

Meet Jack...

Here is our new dog Jack. Josh sold Harley and got this one. He's supposed to be a "really good" dog...we'll see about that! He is only 8 months old and already huge, he's going to be a really big dog. Josh LOVES his dogs and really enjoys taking them out hunting. Here's a couple pics...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Tonight I am making Josh a homemade candlelight PRIME-RIB dinner!! He is so gonna love it. He's such a meat and potatoes guy so I know he'll really like it. I also made his favorite dessert as well. Just pray that our house doesn't burn down. Every Valentine's I think of house fires because my parents house burnt down when I was five on Valentine's Day (not because of cooking byetheway, it was a gas leak!)So every year I get a little paranoid. Other than that, I love Valentines! Alli got cute Valentine's packages from both sets of grandparents...thank you for those! We also went to breakfast at IHOP with my parents because they were up here flying out to New Orleans. Also, I just wanted to say that I love Josh and Alli sssoooo much! HAPPY V-DAY, Hope ya'll have a great one! XOXO

Alli got this cute little pink chair a few weeks ago and she LOVES it! It's the first things she runs to every morning when she wakes up. I thought it was the perfect chair to take some Valentine's pictures of her in.

Valentine's Sugar Cookies

Today Alli and I made some sugar cookies! Why I attempted to make them with a 16 month old, I will never know. She made a HUGE mess, but she seemed to be really enjoying herself so I just let her have at it! I'm surprised she's not sick because she ate TONS of cookie dough! Even though it was VERY messy and kind of a lot of work, it was a lot of fun! I love hangin out with my little girl.

So...I may have boiled over and burnt a few things one too many times! I've had this gros stuff on my stove top forever, and it will NOT come off. I've tried a lot of different products and nothing seems to take it off. If any of you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know! Thanks!

Fun Weekend

Saturday Josh took Alli to the Hunting Expo in Salt Lake for like 4 hours which was nice because I got to sleep in forever! He's so good like that- he always takes her places with him, it's the best! She just loves her Daddy. While they were there, they ran into Jeff Foxworthy, so they got their picture with him!
Later, we took Alli to Kangaroo Zoo, which is a really fun place for kids to play. Although I think she's a little too young to fully enjoy it. We were only there for like 15 minutes and then she was over it. We went on a few slides with her and that's about it! It's a really fun place though, I think she'll really like it when she's older. Also, I got to go see TWO movies this weekend, it was awesome! I saw "He's just no into you," and "Taken." I really liked Taken, it was SO intense! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

15 Month Pictures

Actually she is 15 and a half months old in these pictures to be exact. Isn't she the sweetest little girl you've ever seen? We think so!

Favorite products as of lately...

I always like to switch up beauty/hair products like this and I always like to try new ones. Some of these I've been using for years, others I am just now trying, but they are definitely some of my favorites! Anyone have any suggestions of products that I need to try?!

*Queen Helene Cocoa Butter lotion
It makes my skin feel so soft, it comes in a huge bottle and it's super cheap!

*Sexy Hair Soy Tri-wheat leave in conditioner spray
Makes it easier to comb out my hair and it's good for your hair.

*Oil of Olay Definity Makeup
Moisturizer and foundation in one, I just love it. It's a really light foundation.

*Bio Oil
I started using this after I had Alli, and I haven't stopped using it since. It's good for stretch marks and it's good for your skin. I put a few drops in when I take a bath.

*Mac Lipstick in Myth, Angel, Tanarama & Politely Pink
I love all MAC products and they are pretty pricey, however they have a huge variety of colors that you can't find anywhere else.

Is really gentle and makes washing off makeup really easy.

*Cover Girl Lashblast Mascara
Doesn't clump, easy to put on and makes your lashes look super long!
