Weekend Fun

This weekend Nate, Sarah & Jordan came up because they were going to the Jazz game Saturday night. They came up Thursday night and went home early this morning. It was fun to have them, and Alli had a lot of fun having someone else in the home to play with!
Sarah and I went to like ten yard sales on Satruday in Lehi, Alpine and Draper and we both found some awesome finds for killer prices! I'm getting more and more into yard sales, I think they're so fun now! I used to think there was just junk at them (which there is), but you can also get some really good stuff. I mostly just got stuff for Alli. I found some cute toys, clothes, frames and these super cute shoes. Josh and Nate mostly just watched the kids for us, and just relaxed and watched basketball games on tv! It was so nice not to have to drag them around everywhere.
Also I made this really cute center piece with the help of Sarah. I've been wanting to make one for a long time. It looks really nice and it's so easy to make! The picture doesn't really do it justice, it looks a lot better in person.

The centerpiece we made, I love it!

18 Months

Alli is 18 months old already I can't believe it! We don't have to go back to the doctor until she is 2 years old which will be nice because she definitely knows who the nurse is now, and knows that she's the one who gives her shots! However, she didn't have to get any shots today but she still was not a big fan of the nurse.
She is getting so big and starting to be more talkative. Her favorite thing to say right now is "Uh-huh" which means yes, she says it all the time. Whenever we ask her if she want something or wants to go somewhere she'll say "Uh-huh!" in this cute high pitch voice is so funny. She LOVES being outside and going to the park. She enjoys looking at the dogs through our back window. She loves other kids and will just go up to them anytime anywhere, she's pretty friendly. Her favorite food as of right now I think would be pancakes, peaches and fruit leather. She's such a sweetheart and we love her so much! Oh and she officially goes to Nursery this week at church, but that shouldn't be too hard on her because I am her teacher!

18 month Stats
Weight: 25.79 lbs (72ND Percentile)
Height: 33.25 in (90Th percentile)
Head Circumference 19 in (90Th Percentile)

Just being a cutie as usual!

This is right after we cut her hair AGAIN (we have cut her hair 5 times already) and cut bangs. They were getting so long and she always pulls her clips out, and then she couldn't see. I'm kind of sad though, I think I'll just let it grow for awhile. Unless it gets all uneven and weird, then we'll have to cut it again. She has SO much hair and it grows so fast.

She still LOVES her books more than anything else

She loves ranch or any kind of dip. She will just suck the dip off of anything and then chew the carrot up and spit it out. Kinda gros, but kinda funny!

One day she fell asleep on the way home from running errands, so I layed her on the couch and she took a nap, she looks so precious!

Alli with her first manicure! She did better than I thought she would- you can kind of see her pretty nails here.

Visit to the Dentist

Alli had her first Dental appointment today and she did great! She has 12 teeth now including four molars! It was better than I thought it was going to be, she only cried for a few minutes. She loved playing on the dentist chair and thought it was a slide! Josh and I also had our check-ups and we are both cavity free..YAY!

Easter Weekend

This year we went down to Cedar for Easter and it was so much fun! We just got back late last night-so we got to stay an extra day which was nice. We haven't been down there FOREVER, so it was fun to spend some time with everybody.
We did a lot of fun things! We went to an Easter Egg hunt out in Enoch, went out to lunch a couple times, colored Easter eggs, ate a delicious Easter dinner and then had another Easter egg hunt just for the grand kids. We also went to a couple yard sales and went to the park. Alli had so much fun with her cousins and playing with all of their toys. She had WAY too much Chocolate over the weekend! In fact, we had to hide every body's Easter baskets because she would steal all their candy! Josh had a Turkey tag but he wasn't able to get one, so he might go back down next weekend. It was such a fun weekend, we love going down to visit!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Just wanted to give a birthday shout out to my awsome Dad who is turning 57 today! He is the best Dad and Grandpa ever, and we love him so much. He is the best person I know and a friend to many, young and old. My dad is real, genuine, supportive, hard-working, giving, smart, funny, well respected and a true country boy. He is an all around great person. Love you Dad, Happy Birthday!

I Need These!

I have an obsession with these little "grape head" candies, they are SO good. However, the one and only gas station that I would get them at is now closed for good! Does anyone know any place that carries these around the Lehi or Saratoga Springs area? I need them now!
