Halloween 2009

Halloween this year was so much fun with Alli being a little bit older. This year she was a cute princess witch! She was so cute-she let me paint her fingernails purple, crimp her hair, put mascara on and lip gloss! She held so still and let me do everything, it was so fun!
She liked trick or treating around the neighborhood until a scary red-eyed skull person scared the daylights out of her. After that she was a little on edge about everything and just wanted to stay in her wagon at all times. However, that didn't stop her from getting candy-people would just bring it right to her and she would hold out her bag!

The night started out with a Halloween meal that consisted of princess soup (disney chicken noodle), doritos, and orange sunkist soda...the meal of champion Trick Or Treaters!

Next we went around are neighborhood and got lots of "treats, snacks and nummies."

While we were out, we ran into Alli's little friend Bella who was also a cute little witch!

After trick or treating, we went to see Aunt "Amer," Uncle Ryan and Baby Kael who was a cute little skeleton!

Josh and I decided to dress up last minute this year too. I was a Boston Red Sox Fan and Josh was a Cowboy. It was a toss up between a Cowboy or a Hunter for convenient since we happen to have all that gear at our house!

We hope you all had a Happy Holiday!

2 Year Checkup

Alli had her Two Year Checkup today and she is doing good! These are the last shots (other than yearly flu shots) she has to have until she's in Kindergarten which will be SO nice!

2 Year Stats

27.7 lbs (65th Percentile)
34.5 inches long (70th Percentile)
16 teeth

She is definitely slimming down, but still as healthy as can be.

She slipped on some water yesterday and cut her lip open, hence the fat lip.

You know it's nap time when she sucks her thumb and grabs her favorite soft blanket!
We love you Alli, and we're so glad that you're healthy and strong!

Alli and I got swine flue shots today, so we are SAFE from it - hopefully! We only had to wait about 30 minutes and Alli didn't even cry which was nice, even though there were kids screaming all around her. She was pretty fixated on the sticker they gave her right before it, thank goodness for stickers! She has to go back in a month for a booster. I feel relieved to have it done =)

Alli's 2nd Birthday & The Deer Hunt

Today is Alli's SECOND Birthday!! I can't believe that she is two years old. We celebrated her birthday this past weekend over in Bicknell because it was opening weekend of the deer hunt and I had a tag this year.
She got spoiled as usual with tons of cute toys and clothes. She didn't really like her birthday cake because she was scared of the fire on the candle.

It took her a minute to get into opening her gifts but then she love it and she would say "CUTE!!" or "TOY!" and would make the cutest faces, she was very expressive.

Here's a few things Alli loves at two years old:

*Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
* Coloring
*Graham Crackers & Milk
*Cheese, cheese and more cheese!
*Playing Basketball
*The Outdoors
*Junk food..we have to keep her away from the Chocolate and Dr. Pepper. She always says, "Yummies...mmmm Good!"
*Washing her hands and trying to brush her teeth
*Sitting on the potty

, you have been the best little girl to us! Happy Birthday!

Saturday morning me, Josh, Amber, Ryan my Uncle and my Dad all woke up bright and early around 5:30 A.M to go deer hunting =)
This was the first year I've gone with Josh since we've been married. We didn't' see anything all morning so I was starting to get my hopes up, and we had been hiking ALL morning and afternoon because Josh is ALL about hiking and hunting HARD! This was the hardest I've hunted in my life! But it was fun to be hiking and hunting with "my guide."

After lunch we headed to a spot where he" just knew" there would be some deer so we got out of the truck and got ready and started sneaking through the trees. All the sudden he said "There's a big 4 point let's go!" To make a story short I ran up the mountain as fast as I could, about threw up, we lost the four point and then we saw a two point trotting down the hill so I leaned up against a log and shot a 250 yard shot and hit him. YAY!!! I was so relieved and so excited and I had so much adrenaline. Even though it was a two point I was so excited.

I had hit it in the leg and it dropped down in the sage brush, but it wasn't dead so we went down to look for it and all the sudden it popped up out of the sage brush, I shot at it four more times and missed all four times ha! So it ended up limping up across the road over another hill. Josh went hiking up the hill to find it and I went back to the truck. When I finally got the truck to go get Josh and find my deer some other people had shot it and already gutted it for us. They knew it was mine though because they said it was wounded. So they threw it in the back of the truck! It was nice that we didn't have to gut it. A few minutes later Josh came hiking down off the mountain and I showed him my deer in the back of the truck! Then we headed back to Bicknell to skin it and finally shower and eat..that's how I like it. I like to get it done opening morning and then go back into town! It was fun, and I had fun hunting with Josh.

We forgot to take pictures out on the mountain so here it is in the garage getting skinned...kind of Gross, sorry!

Pumpkin Patch

We were in Richfield last weekend so we took Alli to a little Pumpkin Patch in Elsinore. It is such a cute little place! We first got to ride a train that was hooked onto a wagon and then we got on a big wagon and they took us out to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. Alli loved the rides.

This is how I am frequently finding Alli when she wakes up from her naps? Anybody else have this problem? I think I am going to have to duct tape her diapers on or else she'll have to get potty trained soon. I don't want anymore #2 accidents in the was enough for me! I couldn't help but laugh though, good thing she has a cute little bum =)

I just thought this was kind of funny. This was a clip on hair thing that we found in the bathroom drawer and it matched her hair really well so I clipped it on. She had know idea what we were laughing at.

Grandma's backyard is like a dream come true for Alli. She LOVES playing outside and that is where she spent most of her time. She kept saying.."side..side...go outside!"

The benefits of being cute...

We were walking around the mall today and one of the girls from Kiddie Kandids stopped us and asked if she could take a few pictures of Alli. In return we would get a free 5 x 7, so I said sure!
Alli loves being in front of the camera and is such a little poser, so this was like a walk in the park for her. Here is the picture we got- sure she is showing you a little diaper in it, but whatever it's still cute to me. Plus it was free, you can't beat that! Thanks for being too dang cute Alli and getting us free stuff, you are a SuperStar!

It's been awhile since I posted anything, at least for me. I'm usually a pretty frequent blogger! Not much has been going on lately, but here's a few things...

*Alli is sitting in a booster seat to eat now and loves it! I'll have to take a picture, she looks like such a grown up in it. She likes to take her booster seat to the front room and watch TV in it. I'm soon going to start gradually potty training her because she has definitely been showing me the signs! Also, we may move her into a big girl bed here shortly because she's been trying to climb out of her crib. So lots of big changes coming up for her!

*On a sad note, Josh's dog Beau died Saturday afternoon while they were hunting. They were hiking and he went blind and started shaking and acting really weird so Josh went over to hold him and see what was wrong and his heart stopped beating within a few seconds. This is the dog that he put quite a bit of money into and a lot of time training and working with him. Josh thinks he had a stroke or a brain aneurysm...sad day for Josh.

*Another not so happy note, Alli was so sick all day today. She threw up six times and finally started to feel better tonight. There is nothing worse than a sick child. She even had her flu shot over a week ago, guess it hasn't quite kicked in? I'm so glad she is feeling better and that I won't have anymore puke on me or have to clean up anymore puke. I took three showers today =)

*I got my Halloween decorations out, that's always fun. I really like Halloween and looking forward to dressing Alli up and doing fun Fall/Halloween activities.

*This is random, but I had a facebook for like 3 weeks and decided I don't like it. I know I know EVERYBODY had a facebook! I'm just not a "facebooker" I guess, I kind of feel like it's a big waste of time for me. So if you're wondering where I went,I deactivated my account...NOT into facebook.
