Look Alike

While I was checking out at Walmart, a complete stranger stopped me and told me that Alli looked just like Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh. Honestly I had no clue what Shiloh really even looked like, so I went home and googled her name. I do see some similarities and we will definitely take it as a compliment- she is cute! Besides, who wouldn't want to look like Brad Pitt's daughter?!

One for the ladies

Ok so I won a free bikini wax about a week ago from Wax Me Too- a waxing only salon in Draper. I went and got it on Saturday, and they told me I could upgrade to a Brazillian for 20$. So I was brave and went for the Brazillian. The last time I had this little procedure done was right before my honeymoon and it was pretty awesome I'm not gonna lie!
If you have never experienced a Brazillian waxing, then you should face your fears and just do it! I feel like a new woman! Haha! Although it is painful and somewhat awkward, anybody who says it's not is lying. But it's only about 30 minutes of pain =) Anyway, now that you know a little more than you wanted to, lets change the subject...

I just found that one of my favorite candy bars is back!!! The MARS BARS! They disappeared for awhile and now they are back! I found them at Walmart and hopefully they will stay because I'm a fan =)

The Gardens

I took Alli to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens for her 2 1/2 yr old pictures which I attempted to do on my own. Everything was so pretty! I got my bridals done there, but I don't remember seeing half the stuff we saw. She had so much fun running around and seeing all the flowers and water. People kept saying she looked like a little flower =) I know there is an obscene amount of pictures here, but she is just too cute! She is getting more comfortable with me always the camera around which is good because I don't plan on stopping any time soon! Anyway, here are a few...oh wait, I mean a TON of pictures of my little flower! I just love you little miss Alli!

Maybe she is saying a prayer in this one?

She had just had a red frootie candy before this one fyi =)

Running her little heart out!

There was a little stage and she put on a show for me!

She was in love with this bear

I can still see some of that cute plump baby cheekiness she once had going on- I hope she never looses those cheeks.

Drink Break!

2 1/2 Years Old

I cannot believe my baby is 2 1/2! She is such a joy in our lives and are so proud to be her parents. She is so happy and has a great temperament about her. Here are a few things about Alli at 2 1/2 years old.

Loves Eggs..she used to hate them and now really likes to eat hard boiled eggs cut up with salt. Or she'll eat an egg fried, but prefers only the egg whites.

Enjoys Chocolate milk, oreos, cheese, grape juice, carrots & dip.

Has moved onto liking some new shows which include Yo Gabba Gabba, Dora, Handy Manny, Noddy, Little Einsteins, the movie Beetoven (about the dog). For awhile she would only watch Mickey Mouse, Ice Age and Barney.

Enjoys Blowing Bubbles, riding her trike and going to the park. Mostly she just likes to do anything outside.

She is very sweet.
If she sees another kid that is hurt or crying she'll say "You okay?" Or when her little cousin Kael is crying she'll say "It's okay buddy," it is the cutest thing ever!
Another example is when we're eating dinner and she sees that I don't have a drink, she'll go get me a cup out of the dishwasher get some water and bring it over to me. When she has a friend over she'll give them snacks and toys and is really good at sharing. She is always looking out for other people.

Loves to go to church and to nursery.

Still takes 2 to 2 1/2 hour naps everyday =)

Likes to do the dishes. She will scoot a chair over to the sink and pretend to do the dishes. She pretty much just gets water everywhere but thats ok.

Can say a few words of a prayer with help from Mom or Dad.

Can count to ten, knows quite a few songs and is learning her ABC's.

Is getting her first molar!

Painting "Tunnels" aka Toenails

After Alli got out of the bath, she got on her snow white dress up on and wanted to paint toenails. I think it's because I had painted hers the night before.
So, I drew a hand and a foot on some paper and let her have at it. She is really into art and always has been- she loves painting and coloring.
After a little bit, she decided to paint her own toenails and that's when we had to stop before she made a huge mess! It was fun to watch her- I could sit and watch her do stuff like this all day because she gets so excited and happy, and that makes me happy =)

In Love with Herself!

A few days ago I was watching something on our video camera and Alli came over to see what I was watching. She LOVES to watch herself! So I rewound the tape all the way to the beginning and she just watched it for like 30 minutes. It was a great way to free up some time! I just thought these pics were kind of funny, I love all of her expressions in them minus the picking of the nose one..that's gross, but I thought I'd throw it in since it's sorda funny.
She cracks me up.

Easter Eggstreme

This year for Easter we decided to stay here and go to the "Easter Eggstreme" event at Thanksgiving Point. It was pretty fun, but so FREEZING.

There were a ton of kids there, so all of the eggs were seriously gone in like 1 minute, it was crazy! Alli got a whopping 7 eggs, but she still had fun. They had little activities for them to do after like little tractor rides, bouncer things, rides with ponies, face painting etc. Afterwards we went to Chili's for lunch and then came home and long nap.

Sunday we just chilled and watched conference and then had an Easter Egg hunt in our house since it was so cold outside. Happy Easter 2010!

She loved riding the "tractor"as she called it.

She thinks her bubble blower from Grandma is pretty cool -thanks!
