Silly Girl

This was on her way back from getting the mail with Josh and she just had to carry all of it back by herself. She has to do everything herself! She is always saying "I do it!" or "Alli will do it!"

Lehi Round Up Rodeo

We of course had to support our local town once again this year by attending the Lehi rodeo! It's definitely a favorite for us, we love going. Alli was so excited to see it this year, it's the first time she's been to it. She loves horses, so she was in heaven! She also liked the sparkly shirts and hats that the cowgirls were wearing.

This was her watching the motorcycle boys, she wasn't quite sure what to think of them flying through the air on their bikes.
I love this, just another reason why I like Carrie Underwood =)

Backyardigans

Last week we went over to my sisters for a little back yard fun in the kiddie pool. The water was freezing, but Alli and Kael didn't seem to mind too much. It was nice to get some sun finally! Alli even layed out with me for a few minutes, I've got her well trained =) Here's a few pics of the cute little cousins together...

Happy Dad's Day

I forgot to mention Happy Father's Day to my main man Josh! He's a great Daddy and husband to me. Also to my Dad was has always been the best Dad I could ever imagine, and I will always be your little girl! Lastly, to my Father-in-law, who has always been so nice and accepting from the beginning. I love and appreciate all of you and I'm blessed to have you in my life. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO YOU!

DP

You can frequently find Alli running around the house naked house drinking the left over of any Dr. Pepper she can get her hands on. She LOVES the stuff, it's like gold to her ha! I always thought I would NEVER let my kid drink any caffeine/carbonation- um ya, that didn't happen. I know I know, we are bad parents.
I did so good for the first year and then it was all down hill from there. BUT, we do try to limit the amount of "coke" as she calls it, that she has. She does still drink lots of water, juice and milk. It's just kind of hard for her not to steal a drink when there are two other Dr. Pepper addicts in the house. Oh well I guess.

Funny Universal Truths

I got this sent to me and thought it was pretty funny and so true!

1. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

2. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

3. Was learning cursive really necessary?

4. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

5. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

6. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

7. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

8. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

9. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this - ever.

10. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello?) but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

11. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

12. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

13. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

14. I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.

15. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.

16. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

17. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

18. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

Swim Lessons

I put Alli in a Mommy and Me swim class at the Rec Center. This past year she became terrified of the water for some reason, so this class has helped her get a little more comfortable with it again.
She has learned how to blow bubbles in the water, go under the water completely, do "icecream scoops" with her arms, float on her tummy with the help of me, go on her back, get in and out of pool and a few other things. She's been doing great and I'm so proud of her for even getting in the water! She looks forward to going every morning.

Little Bruiser

This is how Alli's legs look pretty much all the time. I just wanted to remember how they ALWAYS have some bruises or scrapes on them. I don't even know how she gets them half the time! She plays hard I guess, what can I say.

What's Next?!

Wow, in the past 3 months we've had our dryer, dish washer, and toilet break. Luckily Josh the handy man was able to fix all of those on his own which was awesome. Just a few days ago our a/c & heater went out and then our fridge broke the next day. SO annoying! So we have been living out of coolers and our extra freezer the past few days. Not fun, I feel like I'm camping in my own house. So now are just waiting on the parts to get here and then we should be good to go. We think the stove will break next since it's the only other major appliance left in the house to break!

Perfect Park Day

Today was the perfect day for the park, so that's we did of course! It wasn't too cold or too hot, it was perfect. We went to some random park we've never been before just to change things up a little.

She says, "Ta-da!" after she goes down the slide.

She loves to throw rocks lately
