Preschool Graduation

Alli graduated from preschool! She has had such a fun couple of years getting ready for Kindergarten! Tomorrow is her last day and she is beyond excited to go to Kindergarten and ride the school bus. For a long time, she thought Kindergarten was right after preschool ended, so I have to keep reminding her that we get to enjoy Summer and then she can go to Kindergarten in the Fall. She just can't wait!
She has gone to Candy Cane Lane Preschool for the past two years and has had a blast! Each day when I pick her up she is so happy and eager to tell me what she learned and show me her papers. She's learned a ton and we are forever grateful to her two wonderful teachers. At graduation they sang the National Anthem, recited all the letters/sounds, and sang some of the rhymes & songs they learned.
Alli, we are very proud of you and all that you have learned at preschool, and so glad you enjoyed going to "playschool" each day! You are awesome and so smart!

Afterwards, we to get yogurt to celebrate and to the store. Haven and I stayed in the car and waited for Josh & Alli. Here's Haven jammin' out and exploring the drivers seat =)

I am a Mother

"The joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction." M. Russell Ballard

I am grateful to be a Mom to my two angel girls. I am incredibly blessed.
I also have the BEST most amazing Mother a girl could ask for, whom I have learned so much from. There are so many great mother's in my life, and you are all inspiring and wonderful in your own motherly way. Happy Mother's day to all the Mother's out there!

She's Got IT...

This girl has got the it factor. I mean seriously, she's got style, grace, confidence, a little bit of attitude, swag, beauty...she's just got it all! She did the Tulip Princess Pageant at Thanksgiving Point this year and did so great! She looked like a pro walking down the little stage. We didn't practice or anything, I just told her to do whatever she wants and she did awesome. She ended up winning Best Smile out of 48 girls. It's not a serious pageant by any means, but she loved being a princess for the afternoon. She got her hair done, a little makeup and a glitter tattoo. Any time she can strut her stuff, she's all about it. We just love her sassy little self, and we are so dang proud of her! Thanks to Grandma G, Aunt Amber, baby Ace and of course Daddy & Haven for coming to support the princess!
Way to go Alli, you rocked!

Getting her glitter tattoo, and she fell off her bike a couple days before and got a huge bump on her head & shoulder =(

It was such a gorgeous day!

Alli, Ace and Grandma G

Making her way down...even holding her dress and hand out like a true princess. SO cute! I loved every second of it.

On the rare moments that we could actually get her to watch, she would clap and clap for all the contestants.
